Overview: 
We are looking for a passionate IT Support Apprentice to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. 
You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of IT support and project work, focusing on Microsoft tools and platforms.

Salary: 
£15,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • First-Line support for Customers: Respond to emails, calls, and support tickets.
  • Document and track technical issues.
  • Escalate complex problems as needed.
  • On-site support: Visit client sites for troubleshooting and project work.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to IT projects for customers and internal systems development.
  • Work with Microsoft Technologies: Gain experience with Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online) and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

What we are looking for:
Desirable Skills: 

  • Experience of hardware repair and troubleshooting 
  • Experience of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products 

Personal Qualities: 

  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Good telephone manner 
  • Able to work independently in the field
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver solutions to meet customer SLA’s
  • Strong customer facing skills, with an awareness of varying client technical skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping

Entry Requirements: 

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) 
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject. 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
