Victim Support Scotland is a leading charity helping victims, witnesses, and their families affected by crime across Scotland. We provide information, practical help, emotional support, and guidance through the criminal justice system, with specialist services for specific crimes like murder, terrorism, rape, domestic violence, and hate crime.
As a member of the Digital Services and IT Team, reporting to the Head of Digital Services/IT, you'll assist with routine development, IT administration, and support tasks. This will allow Digital and IT Officers to focus on system improvements and collaboration projects, enhancing VSS processes through SharePoint automation. Your role aims to improve the overall digital experience for users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support as needed across tasks
- Handle routine IT administration
- Gather requirements for system changes or new systems
- Build relationships and promote IT services within VSS
- Assist with managing and monitoring the O365 environment
- Document change control processes, including risks and contingency plans
- Liaise with the Service Desk to escalate issues
- Monitor and improve areas of responsibility
- Help manage software licenses
- Support cyber security tasks and system alert monitoring
- Update the IT Hub and maintain the Asset Register
- Assist with service transitions and post-go live support
- Ensure Windows devices and mobile phones are up to date
- Gather monthly KPIs for IT reporting
- Update the IT calendar for key dates (e.g. warranties, contracts)
- Support data gathering for management reports
- Help assess external technology partners
- Assist with project documentation

£21,840 per annum
