Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Contribute and work within projects to ensure successful execution within defined deadlines, contributing to the smooth implementation of IT solutions for our clients.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications
  • Participate in client meetings, including face-to-face interactions, and pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and building strong client relationships
  • Monitor and maintain computer networks
  • Analyse system logs and identify potential issues or trends
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures

What are we looking for?

  • Good people skills, face to face and over the phone
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge with a keen interest and experience in IT related technologies (self-build, tinkering)
  • Good written English, with a grasp on grammar and spelling
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Ambition to learn, achieve and level-up
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • You will be working from the office everyday, so you will need to live within 45 minutes of RG24 9RA / Basingstoke, Berkshire
  • Happy to undergo a Basic DBS Check
  • Provide at least one reference
  • Join our on-call rota (Monday – Sunday) for out-of-hours support, inconvenience payment & overtime paid

Essential: 
Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travelling.

Entry requirements: 

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
