Overview:
Our boutique digital agency is currently seeking an Apprentice Digital Marketer!
We are looking for a raw talent with a genuine passion for the industry to join our team and help us develop effective digital marketing strategies for our clients.
We are offering the right candidate a sought-after opportunity to join a small agency specializing in marketing and website development. You'll gain plenty of hands-on experience, become a valued member of the team (i.e. not just stuck making tea!), and will have the opportunity to prove yourself and progress within the company.
Working hours:
You will start the role on 30 hours per week, increasing to 37.5 hours on completion of the probationary period.
The Role / Duties:
- Writing and researching content and blog articles.
- Contribute ideas for creative content and marketing activities across both in-house and client projects.
- Assist with marketing campaigns.
- Use Excel, Google sheets to manage product data and uploads.
- Working with Mailchimp, HTML and CSS.
- Developing knowledge and skills in the implementation of SEO best practice.
Desirable Skills and Personal Qualities:
- Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude.
- Genuine interest in digital marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player, good communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advantageous - experience using WordPress CMS.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
