Join Our Team as a Business Administration Apprentice!

Denholm Port Services, a leading ship agency provider in the UK, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice.  You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Managing Director (MD) and Senior Management team, earn a qualification and become an important part of our administration team.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Helping the MD and Directors: You’ll assist with tasks like reconciling expense claims, creating reports, and booking travel and accommodation.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Work: Maintain important company registers for vehicles, leases, and more.
  • Office Essentials: Keep our stationery, workwear, and business cards in check.
  • Client Proposals: Get hands-on experience by creating client proposals.
  • Social Media: Manage our online presence through platforms like LinkedIn.

What Qualities Are We Looking For?

  • Communication Skills: Be a great communicator – both written and verbal.
  • Time Management: Juggle tasks efficiently and prioritise your workload.
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple responsibilities with ease.

Salary: £18,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
