Your responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk: Be the friendly face at the IT Helpdesk, assisting with tech questions.
  • Professionalism matters: Represent the IT Services Department with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Solve IT mysteries: Use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Tech setup: Set up laptops, phones, printers, and other devices for new team members.
  • Collaborate: Work with suppliers and other IT professionals to resolve problems.
  • Business apps: Learn about the software we use across the company.
  • Grow with us: As you learn, take on more responsibilities.

Skills and requirements:

  • Tech curiosity: Basic IT knowledge and a hunger to learn more.
  • Literacy and numeracy: Good English and Maths skills (National 5 level or equivalent).
  • Organised and team-spirited: Strong time management and a team player.
  • Confident communicator: Be articulate and professional.

Salary:  £17,000 per annum.

Working hours:  Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
