The role of a Support Engineer within iomart is extremely varied, with no two days the same. Our Support Engineers take care of everything from infrastructure monitoring to server and firewall configuration, fault-finding, and incident management.

Responsibilities:

You will provide first class technical support to our customers on a daily basis. Working as part of an established support team you will be part of iomart’s customer facing support team responding to customer support requests. This key support role is responsible for managing technical support requests and initial triage and troubleshooting of hardware, network, and application related issues across our customer base.

You will be working across a variety of different technologies and developing skills to resolve a wide range of customer issues, ensuring that a first-class support service is provided at all times.

Salary:

£19,000 per annum

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
