Interactive IT are an IT support and sales solution, we provide multiple different companies within the direct sales space technology solutions providing customers and clients the best possible on-boarding experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated IT Administration Apprentice to join our team, while we are going through a period of growth. It is a busy role that will require attention to detail but is important to the success of the whole team. The existing IT team will also be available to provide you with support and guidance as you learn your role and become more confident.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing fully immersive end to end options from original hardware, software, website builds all the way to daily and hourly support and reporting to ensure that our clients focus on what’s important to them
  • Working alongside experienced team members to provide those end-to-end options
  • Engaging with the reporting and telecommunication systems and keeping these up to date
  • Managing tickets and escalating these as and when required
  • Providing excellent customer service both verbal and written to end users
  • Resolving IT queries efficiently, accurately and recording information
  • Involvement tickets on IT hardware and software

Desirable skills:

  • A successful candidate will display a good logical thought process being able to display an understanding of processes and procedures
  • Hard working
  • Common sense
  • Interest in IT
  • Qualifications in maths, IT, business, product design etc are desirable but not essential as all skills will be taught

Salary:

£13,312 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with alternate Saturdays. Upon completion of training your shifts will be 8am - 4pm, 10am - 6pm or 12pm - 8pm.

Future prospects:

A full time role on completion of apprenticeship with the potential to do a technical apprenticeship at SCQF Level 8.

This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.  Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work.  They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
