Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Intelligence Team at Plus Dane Housing Limited.

You will cover all aspects within the Business Intelligence team assisting with the implementation of our two-year BI transformation project. Working closely with the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support in the development and maintenance of our Business Intelligence systems whilst working towards your Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship.

Salary: 
All apprentices are paid the current Living wage, which stands at £20,830 per annum.

Duties:

  • Data Collection: Assist in the collection and organization of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity 
  • Data Cleaning: Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis, including handling missing values and outliers 
  • Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis tasks, such as descriptive statistics, data visualization, and data modelling 
  • Tool Proficiency: Learn and become proficient in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Qliksense 
  • Report Generation: Help in creating reports and dashboards to present insights and findings to stakeholders 
  • Collaborate: With the Business Intelligence Analyst and team members on projects, you will be  contributing to problem-solving and data-driven decision-making 
  • Continuous Learning: Actively engage in ongoing learning and skill development to stay current with data analysis trends and techniques 
  • Monitor and assess data quality working with the Data Governance team where required

Entry requirements: 
Standard entry: 

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc) 
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role) 
    Plus:
  • 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above  
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar) 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
