TruOFFICE is an IT managed service provider that offers reliable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within the Thames Valley and London. We help our clients with IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, backup and recovery, and software development.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
As a 1st Line IT Support Apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and provide them with technical assistance and customer service. You will work as part of a friendly and professional team and gain valuable experience and skills in IT support.

Location: 
Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 1HG

Salary: 
£16,000 - £18,000 per annum.

Duties: 

  • Answering incoming calls and emails from clients and logging them on our ticketing system
  • Troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues, such as password resets, network connectivity, software installation, etc.
  • Escalating complex or urgent issues to the 2nd line support team or the relevant vendor
  • Following up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and close tickets
  • Updating and maintaining documentation and records of IT assets, incidents, and solutions
  • Supporting the IT manager and the 2nd line support team with various IT projects and tasks
  • Completing online training courses and assessments as part of your apprenticeship programme

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
  • A problem-solving and analytical mindset and an ability to work under pressure
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks
  • A team player who can also work independently and manage their own time and workload

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
