Vacancy description:
To assist the HR Department to provide a professional HR service to all Faculty and FSL managers, and their staff, which is consistent with fair, equitable employment practices and contemporary best practice employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the archiving project of scanning paper files to electronic files
- Save all invoices to the system and ensure they are accurately recorded on the budget spreadsheet
- List inhouse training sessions on the HR system while monitoring the uptake of each session
- Support the team with general enquiries, by email, telephone or in person
- Assist with carrying out actions from both committee meetings
- To ensure absences are recorded on the absence tracker and notify the HR team of Absence Management Procedure triggers
- Posting vacancies on the recruitment site and external websites
- Ensuring applications are fully completed and saved onto the system
- Learn how to operate the HR System, Cascade, to update staff changes such as address, contract variations, employee benefits etc
- To undertake any other duty or project as reasonably requested by the Head of HR
Personal qualities:
- An effective communicator both written and verbally
- A proactive attitude with the desire to learn
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to show discretion and ensure confidentiality
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills
Salary:
£15,000 per annum
Working week:
35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am until 5pm
