Working out of their new office within Glasgow, you will be a key team player as part of a team of 7, working in the finance department. Our client had one restaurant in 2017, as of July 2023 they now have 16 restaurants in 4 separate countries! This is a great time to join the business as they implement these plans, continuing to expand into 2023 and beyond.
The organisation are no strangers to all things apprentices, as proven in the past, they have a rich history of developing apprentices with QA and progressing them within their professional career.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices (Hubdoc and Xero)
- Helping implement/optimize the new Procure to Pay system (Zonal Acquire)
- Dealing with supplier queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and fixing any discrepancies
- Reviewing ledgers and investigating/resolving anything to keep them in good shape
- Weekly payment runs- from pulling suggested payments and discussing with management to
making the payments, sending out remittances and ensuring ledgers are updated
- Strong competency in IT systems including Excel
- Petty cash reconciliations

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary:
£10,982 - £15,548 per annum (dependant on age)

Future prospects:
You will complete your apprenticeship with QA on your first year at the company. There will be opportunities to gain a full-time role and become a valued member of a Finance team. There will be salary reviews and lots more responsibility for the successful candidate to gain over time with an employer who will develop them in to a professional in this field, through on the job and related training courses.
