Do you want to achieve a fully funded master’s degree in data and analytics whilst working for a fast-paced growing National company. Then the MSc Digital and Technology Specialist Degree Apprenticeship with AFI is for you. We are currently looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Apprentice to join our busy, growing IT Support team. Hybrid working from our Support offices in Castle Donington, you will be part of a small but expanding team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing recurring and ad-hoc Management Information
  • Building, maintaining and improving upon existing reports which are largely SSRS and Excel reports
  • You will have exposure to our new Power BI project
  • You will have exposure to the data warehouse, SSAS, SSIS and SSRS packages
     

You will need the following skills:

  • You must hold a 2:2 honours degree in Computing, Technology or Engineering discipline (or other relevant qualification/experience) to be accepted onto the programme
  • You must have a high level of attention to detail
  • You would ideally have some SQL experience
  • You should have a team mentality and be willing to help out colleagues 

Please note that we operate a 2 stage interview process and online testing to screen candidates.

Entry requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade
  • English Language GCSE at Grade C (4+), or equivalent

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

40 hours per week
