Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The apprentice will assist the Business Intelligence Manager in the production of timely, accurate and meaningful data to support the safe, successful and commercial operation of the business.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Data Analyst L4 Apprenticeship.

Salary:
£22,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Support the Business Intelligence Manager in providing timely, insightful and accurate information to managers across the business. 
  • Contribute to the Business Intelligence function’s reputation as a responsive and reliable source of information. 
  • Be able to highlight any deficiencies, errors or unknowns in the data being used. 
  • Help build ‘single sources of truth’ to avoid competing metrics. 
  • Be able to understand and interpret business requirements and translate these into reports. 
  • Client data held is accurate and up-to-date and informs the business. 
  • Proactively provide relevant insights discovered. 
  • Working with Business Change Managers to ensure that processes are accurately recorded and validated in CRM system. 
  • To source, refine and provide accurate and up-to-date information to underpin performance towards commercial targets and good client outcomes.

Entry requirements:
Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 5 (B) or above 
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
