Employer description:
As an established Letting Agent, City Red have been offering Residential Property Rental and Management services for over 10 years. 
We specialise in City Center Apartments, Professional Houses and Student Accommodation in Leeds.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Data Essentials Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

Working week:
9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, 
[1 hour lunch]  
37.5 hours a week.

Salary:
£13,000 per annum.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Dealing with rental enquiries
  • Answering the phones and taking enquiries from potential tenants by matching their requirements to properties available for rent on the internal system
  • Notifying existing tenants of future viewings
  • Store and manage sensitive customer data in a security manner and in line with regulations and guidelines
  • Answering email rental enquiries
  • Dealing with customers coming through the door looking to rent a property

Signing tenants up:

  • Signing tenants up using the company’s documentation including drafting the tenancy agreement
  • Updating our Property Management system with the new tenancies
  • Electronic filing and archiving of tenant details Adding Properties & updating Property Portals:
  • Adding newly taken pictures to the company’s property management system
  • Writing property descriptions

Ensuring details on property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla are correct and up to date administrative support to management:

  • Inputting invoices onto our systems from different data sources
  • Using Excel to collate data and spot trends and present findings to management
  • Managing letters, council tax enquiries, bills enquiries, and other related items
  • Supporting management with general administrative duties such as basic data entry and filing
  • Collecting and allocating rental payments
  • Chasing tenant arrears
  • Instructing litigation
  • Supporting the Accounts Manager

Desired skills:
We are looking for an individual who has:

  • A passion for property
  • A good understanding of excel and finance
  • Good experience with handling data
  • Strong understanding of Maths / Mathematical skills

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
