Our client are currently looking for an apprentice to work as a processing assistant in their office just outside of St Albans.

Overview:

This role is full time. The ideal candidate will be a team player who has a proactive approach and the ability to prioritise your workload.

You must be enthusiastic, have excellent communication and IT skills and be confident in your own abilities.

The Order Processing Assistant will be joining a great team of people that manages food and drink products that are found in major supermarkets and wholesalers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with clients and brands manager to facilitate the timely processing of Amazon and ecommerce orders
  • Processing client orders on a daily basis
  • Being the main contact person for clients and managing their products
  • Working closely with finance to ensure correct pricing of products
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure that client deliveries are correctly scheduled
  • Effectively communicating with clients and dealing with any potential issues should they arise
  • Monitor designated client accounts, reporting any errors or issues to the operations manager
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports to assist finance and operations manager
  • A small element of administrative duties as required

What we are looking for:

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Knowledge of Amazon vendor and seller systems
  • Knowledge of how ecommerce systems work
  • An enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working in an order / data processing environment would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and data-driven environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, including via telephone and email

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£15,000 - £18,000 per annum 

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
