Dalvie Systems provide warehouse and office solutions to businesses around the UK. From installing and repairing pallet racking, to building mezzanine floors, to commercial office refurbishments and furniture. We also provide a vast selection of warehouse products to our customers which is illustrated on our ecommerce website.

Overview:

We now have an opportunity available to complete a Digital Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship, where you will gain valuable skills and experience. 

As the digital marketing apprentice, you will be supporting the marketing manager on delivering all aspects of marketing for the business. 
Focused on building brand awareness and generating new leads for the company, you will be a vital member of the team in helping achieve these goals. From market and competitor research, to social media support, website maintenance, design, email marketing and sales administration support. 

Salary: 

£12,000 to £15,000 per annum. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Market and competitor research – understanding the market and target audience, gain in depth knowledge of activity in order to create relevant content 
  • Keeping up to date with competitor pricing and offerings, to ensure we are competitive in the market 
  • SEO support – Using tools to research relevant key words for the company website in order to ensure we are creating the right content for our goals 

Online shop products maintenance – using Wordpress, you will be required to:

  • Complete online price checks of products with other competitors and suppliers to ensure pricing is correct (update accordingly)
  • Uploading, editing and adding imagery to the website
  • Adding new and removing old products from the online shop, ensuring that relevant products are updated
  • Website maintenance – providing support in ensuring that images and content are up to date to help towards the SEO targets
  • Social media support – entails researching and creating content for posts across all business platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram)
  • Social media engagement – increase brand awareness by engaging with followers and posts to increase exposure and overall activity and presence
  • Social media monthly reports – supporting marketing manager with social media analysis of overall activity statistics each month – creating in a report to discuss findings and suggestions on improvements
  • Google analytics and SEO support – assisting in research and monthly analysis
  • Mailing – catalogues to existing customers
  • Marketing data cleansing/ maintenance on CRM system (ACT) – ensuring all data is current and up to date for marketing and sales purposes
  • Email marketing research and support (Mailchimp)
  • Research topics and content for circulation
  • Updating contacts
  • Creating templates
  • Imagery
  • Supporting sales in administrative task including:
  • Customer follow up engagement – sending out thank you emails and encouraging reviews of service
  • Supporting project tasks - inputting project and order information into system (Following Dalvie Systems specific process)
  • Filing information relevant to new and existing projects/orders

Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 

Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm,

Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm. 

39hrs a week.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
