You will be responsible for:
- Installing new hardware and software
- Basic computer networking
- Completing operating system installs and data transfers
- Completing Virus/Malware removals
- Installing and managing cloud-based products
- Answering telephones and liaising with business customers whilst taking down information
Additionally, you will learn:
- How to fault diagnose PC issues
- How to deal with customers in person and over the phone
- A good understanding of IT network and security requirements

Working week:
35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Skills Development Scotland agency. To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
