Who you’ll be working for:
Armac Martin, a family-owned SME, manufacture luxury brass cabinet hardware. All products are designed, manufactured, and finished to one of 22 finishes in-house, enabling close quality control. Armac Martin has undergone significant growth in recent years and as a result has developed its system development team. The role of the team is to continuously improve, integrate and automate systems.

You will be responsible for:
- Working with the Systems Development Team to create and implement technological advancements that improve operations
- Coding in a multitude of languages (including SQL, Python and C#) to generate data, deliver automation projects and link systems (both server and cloud based)
- Working on the entire Agile development cycle
- Supporting the continuous improvement of systems
- Supporting and troubleshooting queries
- Resolving errors and problems with existing deployments
You will need the following skills:
- Punctual and hardworking
- The successful candidate must have a strong focus on personal development and innovation
- Growth mindset; able to learn and release value incrementally
- Able to clearly communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders and teams
- Experience of working in a systems or technology based role is desirable
- Experience in an agile team desirable
- Coding experience in SQL, python and C# are desirable
- Our primary ERP system is SAP Business One and so knowledge of SAP is desired
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
- The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
- OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:
39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1pm
Future prospects:
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, there may be opportunity for future progression within the company in a more advanced IT role or through a higher-level apprenticeship.
