Alto – Apprentice IT Engineer

An exciting opportunity to kickstart a rewarding career in IT with Alto, an accredited IT and Cyber Security support company in Aberdeen. The successful 2 candidates will learn how to identify issues, problem solve and handle support calls to end users. They will be learning and working alongside a team of experienced professionals who promote a healthy culture. With full on the job training, you will also earn a Modern Apprenticeship as an IT Professional at SCQF Level 6 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning and displaying a high level of customer service
  • Effective and timely technical support to Alto’s clients and other internal technical units
  • Handling an internal ticketing system, completing requests where appropriate
  • Resetting client passwords following change management
  • Learn about current operating systems and standard software packages
  • Engage in training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in key areas, such as desktop support, networking and operating systems
  • Learn and practice change and risk management
  • Learn how to triage inbound calls and perform initial troubleshooting routine

Future Career Progression:
