Overview: 

Due to fantastic growth, we are actively on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to support our Marketing Manager and wider Delivery team.

In the role of Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll be working alongside 16 (and counting!) experts in the digital marketing industry. 

The demand for our services has grown exponentially over the past decade and we’re committed to helping brands discover the infinite possibilities of digital marketing.

We’re passionate about the digital marketing ecosystem and the progressive changes that occur almost every day. We’re looking for a person who is also excited and enthused by this.

The primary role of the Digital Marketing Apprentice will be to support our Digital Marketing Manager in delivering omni channel campaigns that feed into achieving Loop Digital's overarching business and marketing goals. 

Marketing Apprentice Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • The creation of various blogs, resources, website content, and social media captions 
  • Social media creation and scheduling of content 
  • Supporting the management of internal social media channels 
  • Graphic design in line with the brand guidelines and style guide 
  • Filming and post-production of video marketing content 
  • Pitching in and sharing ideas about future marketing decisions and strategy development 
  • Navigating WordPress to upload and update website content 
  • Planning, creating and distributing engaging email marketing campaigns for internal and external contacts 
  • Liaising with external support and resources when applicable 
  • Using analytical tools to gain insights from digital campaigns to track and improve performance 
  • Reviewing, digesting, and providing feedback on internal marketing reports 
  • Learning about the latest techniques and accepted understanding of current best practice methods 
  • Carrying out SEO activities across on-page, off-page and technical aspects 
  • Market and keyword research to identify opportunities 

What we are looking for: 

Skills and experience:

  • An understanding of the core principles of digital marketing and its associated inputs/outputs
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Confidence to suggest or support creative decision-making 
  • Clued up with the latest social media channels and trends 
  • A good level of written and verbal communication skills that can be applied to a range of B2B and B2C audiences and digital platforms 
  • Some understanding of online analytics and insight-driven decision-making 
  • Logical and creative thinking skills 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Organisation, timekeeping and working to deadlines 
  • Essential computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and Google Drive 
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred 
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand technical topics

Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

40hrs a week.

Future prospects: 

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
