Overview:

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and hard-working Digital Marketing apprentice to join our rapidly growing organisation with exceptional progression opportunities. This is a diverse role and one perfect for a confident and ambitious individual looking to get hands-on experience - you will have the opportunity to make the role your own. 

Duties:

Your role as a digital marketing assistant will involve:

  • Writing engaging copy for our website for continuous SEO improvement
  • Re-Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering monthly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
  • Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success
  • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
  • Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
  • Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
  • Designing simple promotional graphics with guidance from brand director for social media platforms, etc.
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
  • Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy
  • Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies when necessary
  • Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences
  • Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
  • Liaise and work with current digital marketing department and brand director
  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites
  • Drive traffic to company pages

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£18,720 per annum. 

Progression:

A permanent role is available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, along with progression within Company.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
