Overview:

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice who has a passion for writing to support our Marketing team with copywriting, blogging, email campaigns, administration and more!

Responsibilities of our Digital Marketing Apprentice - Copywriter

  • Your role will be to plan, create and post exciting content on the websites, create brand communications for a range of audiences and research topics to grab prospects' attention
  • You’ll be working with our marketing team to get our brand name out there, keep our clients and candidates up to date and generate new business through engaging and exciting copywriting

Reporting directly to an experienced Senior Marketing Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing blog updates and page content for our global websites
  • Writing copy for email
  • Handling email, social media and website enquiries
  • Supporting our Construction division with tasks such as website administration
  • You will learn how to write for different audiences and goals, including for SEO purposes
  • You will have full training on how to use various platforms such as our website platforms and customer relationship management systems
  • Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as required

What we are looking for:

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

We are looking to hire a keen and passionate undergrad, or graduate, looking to gain experience within the field of marketing.

The following skills are preferred:

  • People skills
  • Have a creative flair with a keen eye for detail
  • Great writing skills, including superb spelling and grammar (proofreading)
  • Willingness to get stuck in and learn
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and diligent
  • An interest in learning lots of digital marketing tools; Meta Business Suite and Advertising Platform, LinkedIn for Business, Mailerlite, HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics/Business Suite
  • Ability to plan effectively with good attention to detail
  • Great time management
  • Training will be provided on the job by your line manager and our Head of Marketing 

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary: 

£18,000 - £20,000 per annum.
