Overview about the Role:

As a Business Intelligence Apprentice, you will work towards a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, gaining hands on experience, learning how to collect and analyse data, identifying trends and patterns in order to improve business decision making. 

You will become an expert in statistics, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) and problem solving, learning how to present information in the form of metrics, KPI’s, reports and dashboards. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Reporting Analysts, creating and maintaining reports to measure key metrics within the business
  • Create and maintain business improvement reports, calculating the benefit to the business
  • Analysing trends within key metrics that influence performance
  • Produce and communicate analysis that is insightful according to audience and business needs
  • Create presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Provide accurate data to internal stakeholders upon request

Entry requirements:

Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

Working week:

40 hours per week (8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday)

Salary:

£19,760 per annum, plus a £500 quarterly bonus.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
