Overview: 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete an IT Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.  

Allied Worldwide is offering a comprehensive in house training programme within in the framework of the national apprenticeship scheme. 

The Role: 

You will be the first point of contact for all technical issues logged by the desk. 

As well as prioritising and assigning calls, you will also analyse and diagnose IT related problems and provide advice and guidance on how to resolve them. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work as part of the global customer services team and provide the right quality and level of service in a timely manner 
  • Be the first point of contact for all technical questions and queries, escalating when necessary 
  • Update internal databases to ensure accurate call logging, response times and billing 
  • Deal with customer problems in a calm and polite telephone manner 
  • Documenting processes 

What we are looking for: 

Key Technical Skills required: 

  • Basic knowledge of PC software/hardware, peripherals and mobile devices 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite 
  • Able to travel around London and High Wycombe area 

*Must have a drivers license and own transport* 

Preferred: 

  • Speak a second language other than English, preferably a European, or Asian language. 

Entry requirements: 

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) 
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future prospects: 

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
