Overview:

Not only will you be gaining hands-on valuable experience, but you will be working with a team of experts who will guide you to completing your Apprenticeship. 

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification. 

A typical day on the job will involve:

  • Offering remote support using the company ticketing system
  • Providing hardware and software support supported by an industry professional
  • Working on-site and assisting customers with IT issues
  • Dealing with technical issues internally for Bravo IT staff members 

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the QA team.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

Starting at £13,000 per annum, with the potential to increase to £16,000 after 6 months.

Hours & Benefits:

  • Monday – Friday role, flexibility around working hours
  • 22 days holidays per year plus bank holidays
  • Option to complete further training courses to develop your skills further 

Future prospects:

  • Progression onto level 4 opportunities 
  • Salary increases to £20,000, depending on performance

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
