Mears Group in Coatbridge are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their growing team as a digital admin apprentice. They are one of the UK’s leading housing solutions providers to both the public and private sector. They have more than 5,500 employees and work with clients to help develop, fund and implement innovative housing solutions.

You would be working within their housing department as part of a local team supporting the Digital & Technological activities and requirements to their Housing operations, Ensuring that all staff are supported with any technology issues, training & device management.

08:30-17:00 Monday - Friday

What would I be doing?

  • Maintenance of digital asset portfolio, working with our central IT management to ensure that devices being issued, returned and swapped out correctly and efficiently
  • Become a 'Digital Champion' and support the training of operatives and staff members on usage of general and specialised applications (full training will be given prior)
  • First line support for troubleshooting of mobile devices, with escalation to second line where appropriate.
  • Wide use of Microsoft 365 package to complete daily administrative tasks and to set up communities on Teams
  • Use of MCM application to support housing operations team
  • Communicate with the branch regarding system updates where required and speak with colleagues to ensure accurate & timely information is provided to them.
  • Work with all team members including, administrators, operatives, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure an efficient and productive service is delivered to service users and to support the attainment and maintenance of high levels of satisfaction
  • Keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies and report to your Manager where damages occur.
  • Attend informal and formal company & client meetings and training sessions as required.
