McSherry Halliday is looking for a Legal Secretary Apprentice to join their team at Elliot House in Irvine.
As a Legal Secretary you will:
- Use LawCloud which is McSherry Halliday’s system for holding client information.
- Answer and make calls, collecting appropriate information to be passed to colleagues.
- Use Microsoft Outlook to arrange appointments and manage diaries.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Learn how to be proficient with Excel to record client information.
- File and scan documents to share and file digitally.
- Be on hand to answer any questions or queries where you will be able to share your knowledge about our services and how we can be of assistance.
- Complete general typing, dictation and provide support to the rest of the team.
- Manage your own workload effectively.
- Hold client information in the strictest confidence.
- Liaise with the partners and other departments within the firm when needed.
You are:
- Well-presented and polite
- Organised and with good attention to detail
- Confident
- Able to deliver excellent customer service
- Passionate and organised
- Skilled in a Microsoft packages
