The search is on! It’s a really exciting time at Arrow as they are looking to double the size of their business by the end of 2023.

Arrow specialises in telephony, data, IT and energy solutions for businesses. It offers a diverse portfolio ranging from hosted telephony and mobiles through to mobile device management, telephone systems, IT services, voice and data connectivity. 

We have 12 offices at each end of the UK, from Scotland down to England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

The role will be as a member of our technical IT team and the candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.  They will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external customers. 

As an apprentice you will help with the 1st line IT Support for our customers as well as learning about the products and services we provide. It is a busy role that will require attention to detail but is important to the success of the whole team. You will be involved in first line support and as such, will probably be the first person the customer speaks to. Therefore, providing excellent customer service is something that you will enjoy as it differentiates Arrow from other organisations. 

Shift pattern of 08:00 to 16:30 and 09:30 to 18:00 Mon-Fri

Vacancy Description: (Main responsibilities)

• Triage Inbound Calls into the Support Team
• Keeping the client up to date on progress
• Provide remote technical support to our user base
• Build and configuration of windows desktops systems

Personal Qualities

• Good all round IT knowledge 
• Interested in all aspects of modern IT technology
• More than proficient with MS Office applications
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent problem solver
• Strong teamwork and comfortable working under own direction
• Great Initiative and ability to work well in a crisis
• Positive attitude & willingness to progress and learn 
• Driver license or working towards gaining a license would be beneficial
