This role is an excellent opportunity for a team player to take their first step in a career while gaining valuable experience in digital administration. You will gain a Digital Applications apprenticeship with REKK Recycling.

In this role, you will quickly pick up the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the role and will become a valued member of the team while completing an SCQF Level 6 Digital Applications Apprenticeship. The small, friendly team is the perfect environment to grow your skills and learn all about digital administration in an office.

REKK Recycling has supported past apprentices and are committed to supporting the growth and development of their apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Working with Sage Accounts systems
  • Digital & manual filing
  • Administrative support
  • Updating business projects
  • Purchase ledger support
  • Sales ledger support
  • Using MS Suite daily

Essential skills and qualities to have:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of Word & Excel
  • Committed to working in an office
  • Good work ethic & attention to detail
  • Reliability
  • Experience with Outlook/email systems would be beneficial

Future prospects:

Progression will be available for the right candidate once the apprenticeship has successfully been completed. 

Salary reviews will also take place.
