Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 IT Cloud Network Specialist Apprenticeship. The Apprentice Network Infrastructure Technician will work alongside our engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the equipment,
installation, and maintenance methodologies.
Duties / Area’s to cover:
Network Cabling
- Cabling
- Termination
- Labelling
- Testing
Audio Visual
- Remove legacy equipment
- Installation of Interactive Whiteboards and Projectors
CCTV
- Assist with the installation of CCTV cameras
- Access Control
- Assist with the installation of Access Control systems
Wi-Fi
- Installation of wireless access points

Special Requirements:
- There will be an element of travel involved in this role, therefore having a full and valid driving licence and access to your own transport is essential

Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this Cloud Network Specialist programme are as follows:
- 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Employment basis:
16-month fixed term contract.
Contractual hours:
37.5 hours per week.
Salary:
£12,000 per annum.
Holidays:
20 holidays per annum, plus Statutory Bank Holidays.
Future prospects:
- Full time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
- Advance to higher level apprenticeship progression within the business to other roles
