Complete IT (CIT) provide market leading IT support services and have done since 1992; it’s what we do and it’s what we do well. Through our network of offices, we provide local IT support, Hosted Telephony Support and ERP Solutions to over 900 SME clients, but it’s how we deliver it that is most important. 

Overview: 

We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 IT Azure Cloud Support Specialist Apprenticeship. 

This role offers a hybrid working policy. 

Reporting directly to Managed Services, you will work with the IT Director at Reading Buses and the CT team to deliver Complete IT Services to our client Reading Buses. 

Duties include: 

  • You will manage the resolution and communication with the client in a manner that delivers an excellent service resulting in client retention and growth.
  • Owning, updating and progressing tickets so the client is confident their issue will be investigated and actioned
  • Responsible for meeting agreed Key Performance Indicators to maintain a consistent high standard of service across Complete IT.
  • Take an active role in personal development to increase technical proficiency.
  • Organise and prioritise daily tasks to provide service in line with client expectations.
  • Be professional, positive and friendly when communicating with all colleagues and clients to aid in effective exchange of information.
  • Be an ambassador of Complete IT at all times, to improve and maintain the reputation of Complete IT.

  • Experience using Microsoft Windows and/or MacOS based workstations
  • Basic awareness of Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems and the roles they play within an infrastructure
  • Basic awareness of Microsoft Cloud technologies (365 and Azure)
  • Basic awareness of virtualisation, networking and firewalls
  • Basic awareness of backup and anti-virus software
  • Awareness of Remote Monitoring and Management tools 

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£15,000 per annum.

Working week: 

Monday - Friday, 

37.5 hours a week. 

Future prospects: 

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
