FDS are a wholly owned subsidiary of DXC Technology and are DXC’s main delivery partner in 9 European countries. The FDS Delivery model is based on providing onshore resources to work on our client sites.

We are looking for an Apprentice who is enthusiastic with a genuine passion in solving IT issues and empathetic to customer needs and requirements.

The successful candidate will be someone who can blend first rate customer service skills with hands on IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing end user workplace support through a mixture or remote tools, telephone assistance and deskside support.

Take ownership and management of tickets, including responsibility for the resolution and timely functional escalation within contracted SLAs

Always seen to be helpful when dealing with clients and within the team, and display professionalism and patience when offering advice and support.

Be comfortable completing a certain amount of administration that includes updates in Service Now and AVS.

There may be an occasional requirement to backfill/assist on other local sites.

 Required Skills:

  • Will lead the way in Demonstrating the Intricacies of a Professional Attitude.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Telephone manner to all levels.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for your role and further development.
  • Quick learner able to work on your ow as well as part of a team.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Knowledge of Android mobile phones some experience of IOS iPhone’s and iPad’s may be useful.
  • Self-Starter, Able to Work Proactively whilst unattended, Punctual, Reliable and Conscientious.

Additional Information:

  • Salary - £12,000 starting salary rising to £21,000 after 2 years
  • Mon- Fri between 08:00-18:00 (37.5 hrs per week)
