Overview:

We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.

You will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience, earn a salary, and receive all your training at no cost to you as you complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring purchase invoices are processed in a timely manner and are matched correctly to purchase orders
  • Deal with supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure all purchase/staff expenses procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure the delegates have a good experience when covering reception

As well as:

  • Gain an understanding of all areas of the payables and billing team
  • Process sales invoices onto customer portals
  • Liaise with sales teams on any billing issues
  • Deal with supplier / staff expense queries as they arise
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Spot check staff expense submissions
  • Create payment reports
  • Process travel bookings
  • Place bookings with vendors
  • Take part in the team rota of ad hoc tasks
  • Cover reception duties – setting up classrooms, Franking, IT packaging, organising couriers etc.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£13,000 - £16,000 per annum.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
