You will be responsible for:

  • The optimisation, maintenance and ongoing management of all social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram)
  • Daily LinkedIn outreach and prospecting
  • Developing and overseeing a content calendar
  • Ensuring all content is relevant and on-brand for our two key audiences
  • Working alongside our CGI artists and interior designers to create and launch new social media assets
  • Building and nurturing an ideal audience by engaging in proactive conversations on all social platforms
  • Monitoring, responding to and liking relevant comments, DM’s and other interactions on all platforms
  • Analysing data and trends and producing social media reports for directors
  • Managing organic and paid social campaigns from concept to completion
  • Consistently finding opportunities to grow our email list
  • Seeking opportunities to grow our reach in person at trade events and shows
  • Identifying appropriate award programs to enter our work into and oversee successful applications
  • Monthly newsletter planning, copywriting and management

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • Competency in developing social strategy
  • Confidence with B2B marketing and social selling on LinkedIn
  • Understanding of how to utilise Instagram and Facebook for business
  • Excellent writing skills and a passion for content creation
  • Knowledge about Facebook business manager, ads manager and experience boosting posts
  • Confidence across key platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn
  • An in-depth understanding of social media tools and engagement metrics
  • Experience using mobile/desktop editing and scheduling apps such as Plann and Canva
  • Experience using mobile/desktop video editing apps
  • A strong understanding of social media, relevant content styles and trends, as well as the different formats of content required across multiple platforms

Entry requirements:

Standard Entry

  • To be eligible to study for a degree, typically candidates will have achieved grade C or above in at least five GCSEs, and at least two A-levels passes or any equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
  • Any Level 3 Apprenticeship

Non-standard Entry with work experience

  • Equivalent work experience (typically 2 years relevant experience at an appropriate level) – candidates may have previously been in a digital marketer role or be able to demonstrate a real passion and personal experience in digital marketing.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme, allowing for contextualized applications. The nature of an applicant’s work experience is as important if not more so than the duration of that experience. The experience could include Digital and Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Campaign Managers, Social Media Specialists, Content Marketing Executives, Digital Producers and Pay Per Click Analysts.

Informal interviews

Informal interviews may be held by academic/ admissions staff where:

  • The suitability of a candidate is in doubt and further evidence is sought.
  • The candidate presents an unusual set of qualifications taken or pending, and an appropriate conditional offer needs to be determined.
  • Candidates may need advice on the appropriateness of the programme.

Applicants invited for an informal interview will always be informed of its purpose.

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
