Overview: 

We are currently recruiting apprentices across different areas of the business. This will be an opportunity to become part of that group and to develop your skills on the job while gaining your qualification from the University of Roehampton. 

Position / Full title - Sales Account Manager Apprentice [Chartered Manager Degree] 

Location: hybrid working -- you will work both in the Abingdon office, and from home.

The Role:

The Sales Account Manager will join the sales team to grow our client base and expand opportunities with our existing clients.

The Sales Account Manager supports our Business Development Managers in seeking and working on opportunities where ITGL can bring value to clients, while bringing profitable and sustainable revenue to ITGL through true client partnerships.

With a sound understanding of our portfolio, the sales team drives relevant conversations and presents impactful propositions to clients. The Sales Account Manager will collaborate with various subject matter experts and teams across ITGL including technical, project management, and client success teams, to deliver solutions and services to new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Account Manager will:

  • Support the Business Development Managers in the day-to-day sales operations including quoting and securing deal registrations
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the Cisco solution stack, learn the value proposition, and how they address client challenges and needs
  • Proactively hunt business opportunities in existing and net new client accounts
  • Adapt their client communications and approach to suit the type of client and their sector
  • Work towards shared sales team goals with defined targets and responsibilities
  • Interpret client install base and purchase history data through reports to create compelling business cases including hardware refresh, new software, new services, and ongoing enhanced support
  • Qualify sales leads from a variety of sources with efficiency and rigor
  • Perform sales procedures through logging activities and opportunities in the client relationship management system and comply with defined policies and procedures
  • Build a sales plan into their client account base

The Candidate:

  • Excellent organisational skills to support senior team members’ efficiency 
  • Discipline to use tools, systems, and procedures to strengthen sales effectiveness 

Entry requirements:

  • Must be in a job role with management responsibility
  • A Levels – Or a Level 3 Apprenticeship, Or an International Baccalaureate at Level 3
  • In order to attempt the EPA apprentices must have achieved GCSE Maths and English at Grade C – you may still enter the programme but will need to evidence Level 2 Maths and English qualification before starting the gateway and EPA
  • Existing staff must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject 

Entry to Level 5: 

Whilst there will be a need to review each case of a student wishing to join the CMDA at levels other than 4, it is possible for students with a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in either the Associate Project Manager or Operational/Departmental Manager qualifications. 

English Entry Requirements: 

  • GCSE English at Grade C 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£21,000 per annum.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
