Job overview:

We are looking for a full-time, highly motivated, and product-focused Junior product owner to join the product department of our successful and fast paced organisation during our latest growth phase.

You would be working with the Head of Product to liaise and consult directly with clients, plan and coordinate projects and provide that essential connection between the client and our internal development and design team.

The position of Junior Project Manager/Product Owner is designed for someone who is passionate and eager to become part of software development management and is looking for a supportive and collaborative friendly environment to learn from and take on responsibility.

As a Junior Project Manager/Product Owner at Arch you would be introduced to and involved in every step of the software development lifecycle, including but not limited to:

  • Consultation with prospective clients
  • Contact with clients from the start of projects to the launch
  • Understanding the client’s vision and helping them identify the best way to create their product
  • Project scoping, specification, design consultation
  • Working closely with the development team to plan projects to budgets and timelines
  • Supporting the development process
  • Testing and quality assurance
  • Launch/release of the product

We have a number of partnerships with clients who have developed and launched products with us who are also a big part of our day-to-day - as digital products are never completely finished! The role will involve supporting them with queries on their live products and providing guidance on how they could improve them.

Entry requirements:

Entry requirements for this degree apprenticeship are typically A Levels (or equivalent) or a Level 3 qualification including BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas or International Baccalaureate.

Candidates who already hold a Degree or higher level qualification will also be considered but it must be in a different subject or materially different to the Project Manager Degree apprenticeship to be eligible for funding.

Other relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme.
