A great opportunity to work for one of Scotland's leading producers of Salmon and largest producer of organic Salmon at their sub office for admin within Bellshill. This is great opportunity to work with a diverse team of supportive administration staff who have had recent success in promoting a previous administration apprentice into a long-term career with them.

Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for all export documentation in relation to the transportation of our fresh product. Whilst having the opportunity to begin and progress through a MA in Digital Application Support .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily checks of the weekly processing schedule our software portal Stock checking and investigating any discrepancies with the packing stations or DFDS through partner systems
  • Checking weather reports and ferry disruptions for the islands to ensure goods will arrive on time.
  • Relaying information to the team and the Sales Team via email.
  • Sending pick tickets to DFDS and Logistics. using our partner systems.
  • Liaise with all travel companies about orders being dispatched that day including freight forwards on all air freight orders.
  • Check previous day orders, invoicing, reconciliation and posting to accounts.
  • Handling all sales related paperwork, Order acknowledgements, pack list and treatment sheet invoices.
  • Completing customer export declarations, Export health certificates and Certificates of inspection.
  • Working with numerous systems. Northscope, Cool Earth, Traces, Trader Support systems, NEW System, P2S System and Defra

Required Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize workload. Excellent communication Skills. Working alone and as part of the team.
  • * An interest in learning some basic French would also be an advantage as there is French speaking account manager working direct with a lot of our clients but not essential

Additional Information:

  • Salary £12,000-13,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday 08.30-4pm (rota of shift starting from 7.30am after apprenticeship)
  • Future Salary potential of £21k
