Bow & Stern is a boutique consultancy helps organizations to define, initiate and run their Industrial Digitalization Solutions with a focus on the Process Industry. We provide “Hands On” knowledge and solution delivery skills that will support your team. Leveraging our tools, methods, accelerators and experience.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Appretinceship.

Salary:
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Develop manufacturing applications for the life science industry (pharmaceuticals)
  • Deliver manufacturing IT projects focused on life science shop floor.
  • Learn consulting skills (client facing)
  • Learn IT project delivery, techniques, tools and methods, as well as soft skills.
  • Develop digital products as part of Bow&Stern industrial digitalization strategy
  • Be a part of a great consulting team

  • Self-starter – ambitious to have a career in digital technology, with an interest in new technologies in general.
  • Must be very keen to learn
  • Good communicator – someone who we can eventually put in front of a client

  • Happy to work in a multinational, multi-cultural team
  • Willing to travel abroad if required.

Entry criteria: 

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade.

Acceptable qualifications include:

  • 2 A levels in one or more similar subject
  • Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject;
  • International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject;
  • BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject;
  • A Work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role

Note: “Similar subject” relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with “Digital and Technology Solutions”

As to what constitutes a “similar subject” this would therefore typically be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.

Note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

Future prospects: 
With our career progression pathways, you can take your learning as far as you want. 
Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship, there is a possibility of gaining full time employment.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
