Overview:

We're currently looking for an Apprentice Supply Chain Administrator who would complete QA's Microsoft Data Essentials Level 3 Apprenticeship, whilst working with the team in our Leeds office. 

Principal duties: [will be to:]

  • Carry out daily replenishment of purchase orders on SFS companies and/ or outside suppliers using AddOne system.
  • Support the Supply Chain Team in expediting urgent orders as required.
  • Complete and submit weekly data required for movement of goods from Europe to UK
  • Support the Material Planner's pro-active activities to maintain their product ranges by extracting data from internal systems, analysing data and making recommendations.
  • Attend and have input to Sales & Operational Planning meetings.
  • Maintain appropriate supplier records and base data in the SAP system.
  • Maintain approved supplier list and associated documentation (ISO9001).
  • Supply lead times to customer services personnel.     
  • Produce statistical information for management as required (e.g. turnover, stocks, outstanding orders etc.).
  • Print, distribute and file all necessary orders, documents and reports.
  • Set an example in acting according to SFS values.

Experience:

  • Be computer literate
  • Have used Microsoft Office platforms, especially Outlook & Excel 

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

9:00am  - 4:30pm (core hours, flexible),

Monday to Friday,

37hrs a week. 

Salary:

£20,000 per annum.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
