SCL is delighted to be recruiting an apprentice. As an education organization, we are a leading provider of sports education, partnering with 70+ professional and grassroots sports clubs across the country to educate and engage more than 3,000 learners every year using the power of sport.

Overview:

We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 4 Network Engineer Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to overflow 1st and 2nd line end-user software and hardware incidents
  • Work with the Head of IT to ensure any technical issues are addressed, and any training/documentation requirements are identified and implemented
  • Support, administer and deliver IT solutions across the company
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress, and required actions have been input promptly and accurately in line with department SLA
  • Liaise closely with business and 3rd party solution providers
  • Assist with implementing, and configuring, laptops, desktops, and mobile phones
  • Plan and work flexibly to deadlines

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • an A-Level in ICT
  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
  • OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
