Working across film and TV, and with experience in all stages of production, from concept through planning, photography and post-production,

One of Us Ltd is an essential studio for visual effects and related work. With approved vendor status, capacity and infrastructure for 300 artists, we are expanding into ever more ambitious and exciting projects.

Overview:

We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Main responsibilities:  

  • To analyse incidents and deliver technical resolutions as part of the IT support service, to contribute to an efficient and effective IT service desk.
  • Review tickets within Service Management systems using established priorities.
  • Man the helpdesk telephone on a daily basis to resolve issues for end users.
  • Learn what notes and updates should be done on tickets.
  • The initial investigation and resolution of incidents relating to business and desktop applications, and subsequent referral to either senior support analysts, to 2nd/ 3rd line support, the application management team or a 3rd
  • Learn to deliver end user introductory training on IT systems.
  • Undertakes daily operational checks as defined and trained by the wider team.
  • Participate in projects as required.
  • Support tracking of IT assets (software and hardware) using software tools.
  • Setup workstations and laptops for new starters
  • Support with physical desk moves between locations
  • Deploy and install software to computers
  • Perform password resets and help end users with profile and connectivity issues.
  • Allow and remove access to folders and email distribution lists
  • Perform basic proactive tasks for backups and learn how to restore backups.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the IT Management Team.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
