Technique provides day to day IT support and project-based IT consultancy to organisations which do not have their own support staff or who require assistance for their existing team.

Overall purpose of the job: 

Primarily as a Network Cabling Engineer/Cabling Engineer Apprentice, you will be working across commercial offices, high end property developments across the UK. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Installation and termination of all types of copper cables mainly with cat 6 and cat 6a cooper cabling although you may be involved with cat5e cabling. 
  • You will also gain technical skills in PC deployment becoming a very strong all-rounder. 
  • You will look to work closely with a senior Technician to build all round customer skills on a day to day basis.

Entry requirements: 

You need to have 5 GCSE’s: 

  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above 
  • 3x GCSE’s grade A-C in any other subject 

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

37.5 - 45hrs a week. / Will be discussed and confirmed upon interview.

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship, there is an opportunity to become a Full Time Employee of Technique Ltd.
