Our client based in Hamilton could be the right employer for you. You will have a fantastic opportunity to work for Park's Motor Group, Scotland’s leading independent motor group who seek a administration apprentice to join their busy team.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with the daily workload within our centralised head office You will be working for a well-established and growing business, operating a strong portfolio of 29 car brands throughout 64 locations in Scotland. Park's represent both volume and luxury brands including Bently, BMW and Maserati.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help contribute towards the team's daily workload
  • Process bank entries, invoices & data supplied by other sites
  • Manage the team’s email inbox and deal with queries efficiently
  • Ensuring tasks are completed on a daily basis and to a strong standard
  • Maintain and make changes in our databases
  • Processing in Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger accounts
  • Daily posting and allocating of bank transactions
  • Ensuring accounts are well kept and up to date
  • Be able to provide and maintain a high quality of work
  • Communicate in a confidential, professional and appropriate manner
  • Continually develop your personal skills and knowledge

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a similar office role is desired, but not essential
  • Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and email programmes • Have an eye for attention to detail
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Be adaptable to varying tasks
  • Be able to work as part of a team

Additional Information:

  • Salary £8,000 - £10,000 per annum
  • 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Opportunity for career progression
