Overview: 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join the organisation - this would suit anyone interested in a career in marketing and communications.  

You will be supporting our Head of Digital Communications and you will be involved in cross-channel campaigns. 

It would suit someone who is interested in remote working with occasional visits to the Leatherhead or London offices. 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Help run and manage our social media platforms
  • Learn how to set up social and search advertising for targeted marketing and how to analyse and interpret data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Brief our digital agency weekly on upcoming social media
  • Support with SEO and keyword analysis for each division
  • Assist with content population on the main website
  • Work with different departments to coordinate end-to-end campaigns
  • Design engaging emails for our clients
  • Help manage our images and videos in our asset library 

What we are looking for: 

Skills and qualities:

  • A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Has a passion for social media and an interest in digital marketing
  • Has an analytical nature
  • Enjoys being creative and thinking outside the box
  • Confident and articulate
  • Keen to learn and ask questions
  • Organised and focused 

Entry requirements: 

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£16,000 per annum. 

Working week:

9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday,

37hrs a week. 

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education. 

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
